Located in the historic Rondo neighborhood in St. Paul, Minnesota, Flava Cafe is as resourceful as it is tasty. This local Black-owned coffee shop aims to build community and create opportunities for young women of color and gender expansive youth by propelling them from coffee to career.
Flava Cafe was looking to expand it’s social media identity through campaigns that would compliment their mission while standing out. Utilizing brand colors and patterns for the visual landscape, I collaborated with Shaunie Grigsby, founder and CEO of Flava Cafe, to create online content that would engage with, entertain and inform our audience, the Flava way.
Our seasonal campaigns resulted in a 40% increase in Instagram & Facebook engagement MoM, generated over 100,00 impressions within 3 months, and gained over 500 new followers within our target audience.
