Art Direction, Digital, OOH, Social

National Park lands have typically been acquired unjustly; Indigenous peoples have either “sold” the land while under duress, or it was taken forcibly by the US government. Following the acquisition of these lands, Indigenous peoples were evicted from their homes and homelands, often on short notice, and forced to move elsewhere. Today, while senior citizens and veterans are allowed free entry into National Parks, payment for admission is still required for Indigenous peoples.

We created 3 separate campaigns to address the effects of unlawful eviction, recontextualizing the meaning of who a ''senior” is in the US, and the cost of exclusion. Our approach was targeted towards policy makers, and those who hold power over park admittance, developing content that brings the issue to the doorstep of Congress. The body of work spanned across digital, social, and OOH channels. Additional work available upon request.
